2024 Art Summer Camp
COURSE OVERVIEW
Following the success of last year, RiverBien will be hosting an “Art Summer Camp” for children aged 5-12 in June this year. Through carefully designed courses and activities, we aim to provide children the opportunity to learn skills, experience the beauty of art creation and application, stimulate creativity, and understand relevant art history in a joyful atmosphere. In addition to professional acrylic painting, watercolor painting, illustration book creation, as well as creative clay and origami, RiverBien will also introduce a new interior design course this year, allowing children interested in art and aesthetics to experience aesthetic application while having fun.
🟡 For children attending the “Digital Illustration Course” from 3-5 PM, please remember to bring your tablet and digital drawing pen to the camp.
Dates and Time
🟡 6/17 – 6/21 and 6/24 -6/28, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
🟡 Optional Add-on course (Digital Illustration or Extended Care): 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
AGENDA
🟡 Please prepare lunch, snacks, and a water bottle for your child to bring to the camp.
🟡 Camp will provide lunch ordering services, and options will be emailed in early June.
🟡 While we discourage food sharing, for safety reasons, please refrain from bringing nuts or other allergenic foods to prevent accidental ingestion.
🟡 We may adjust the schedule based on daily curriculum and learning conditions to ensure teaching quality.

CHECK-IN and PICK-UP
📍 740 E. Arques Ave. Sunnyvale
🟡 RiverBien will provide a 15-minute check-in window (9:00 AM – 9:15 AM), and camp activities will start promptly at 9:15 AM.
🟡 The camp program will end at 3:00 PM sharp. Parents are kindly requested to pick up their children by 3:05 PM (If you need someone else to pick up your child, please inform RiverBien in advance with the name of the authorized person, and ensure they bring photo identification). A late fee of $1 per minute will be charged for tardiness. Thank you for your cooperation.
🟡 Due to venue limitations, parents or authorized individuals are requested to wait in the parking lot before and after drop-off/pick-up times. Thank you for your understanding!
REGISTRATION and PAYMENT
Fees
🟡 Tuition: $459/week. Get $30 discount for two-week enrollment!
🟡 Materials Fee: $20/week
🟡 Add-on Courses for 3-5pm: (1) Digital Illustration: $199/week, or (2) Aftercare: $150/week
Payment Method:
🟡 Please Zelle the following amount to art@riverbien.com. We will send a confirmation email upon receiving your completed registration form and payment.
🟡 Due to limited space and to ensure fairness to all parents, your child’s enrollment will only be confirmed upon receipt of the completed registration form and full payment. Submitting the registration form alone will not secure a spot. Thank you
CANCELLATION and REFUND POLICY
🟡 If your child is unable to attend the course for any reason, you may notify us before the start of the class and transfer the course to another child at no extra charge. If there are students on the waiting list who can take the spot, a full refund can also be provided.
🟡 If it is not the above situation, due to various expenses such as teaching staff, assistants, venue, materials, etc., we need to prepare in advance. We will refund according to the following proportions depending on the time of notification, please understand*:
Cancellation notified between 3/1 – 3/15/2023: 95% refund.
Cancellation notified between 3/16 – 3/31: 85% refund.
Cancellation notified between 4/1 – 4/30: 75% refund.
Cancellation notified between 5/1 – 5/15: 65% refund.
No refund will be provided for cancellations notified after 5/15 (Non-refundable).
*After notifying the cancellation, you must receive a confirmation email from us to confirm the successful cancellation. Thank you!
🟡 If the camp needs to be canceled due to regulations from national, state, or local governments, or due to force majeure, we will refund on a pro-rata basis according to the number of class days.
🟡 We reserve the right to cancel classes or camps due to unforeseeable circumstances such as changes in venue regulations imposed by the property owner or insufficient enrollment. In the event of such cancellations, we will issue a full refund of the applicable fees.
