NBA legend Kobe Bryant passed away at about 10 a.m. EST on January 26, due to a personal helicopter crash. Kobe has been selected to the All-NBA Team 11 times and is hailed as the successor of basketball emperor Jordan.
However, what people miss most about Kobe is not only his great basketball skills but his impact that extended far beyond the court. Do you know – His positive and inspiring spirit actually comes from his faith?
He stated in 2015 that faith helped him through the difficult times of his life and family life, so he decided to turn to God to face up to his past and get rid of some of the superficial images he had established in the public. In addition, he has sponsored homeless shelters and other institutions serving the poor based on his faith.
Kobe Bryant: “The most important thing is to try and inspire everyone so that they can shine on what they want to do.”
We may not have the skills to play basketball like Kobe, but we can take power from God and become an influential person like him.
