Love, Without Scale

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for giving me a wife who loves me deeply.
Lord, let me not take her for granted as time passed,
but cherish her and love her just like day one.
Give me wisdom and remind me to be considerate of her feelings and dedication to our home.

Lord, remove the magnifying glass I put on my wife’s shortcomings.
Let me accept her mistake with more profound love and unfailing kindness,
always use encouragement and advice to unload her frustration
and embrace her imperfection with joy and humor.

Lord, let me value my wife’s values and not use my standards to judge her.
Let us care for each other sincerely so we can be united and glorify you.
Give me the courage and help me take responsibility
so I can love my wife as Christ loves the church.
