When is my harvest season?

Have you noticed that the green leaves are turning yellow? Although Covid19 has slowed down our lives, autumn-the harvest season-is still here, following the natural changes of the seasons.

Nature has four seasons, but the seasons of our life are not as regular as nature. Sometimes life will go straight into winter, full of suffering. Sometimes life will jump to summer from winter because of a benefactor.

The seasons of life are not controlled by our own hands. So it makes humans feel confused or lost, and even fear for the future. When will our harvest season come?

Human beings are limited. It is really difficult for us to understand why the efforts we put into does not lead to fruition. Life often gives you a lemon and makes you feel frustrated. The only solution is giving up your life schedule and your control over life. Life works best when we listen to God and obey Him wholeheartedly. Believe that the plans God makes for you are the best so that you can still live in hope even when you encounter a sudden winter in life. Believe it – one day God will give you the autumn harvest on time.

Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior. – Habakkuk 3:17-19(NIV)
