Excellence is an attitude of resilience. A pastor pointed out that “excellence” appeared 70 times in the English Bible. This reminds Christians the importance of having an attitude of excellence. Excellence is not about pursuing the same achievements as others, but recognizing and striving for the purpose and success that God has prepared for us, and achieving our callings remarkably.
The pursuit of excellence is not the pursuit of perfection, but to cultivate the habit of pursuing excellence in words and in deeds, and to do everything possible to become an outstanding person: the traits of an outstanding employee are often humility, hard work, diligence, and resilience. Only in God, there is truly perfect excellence. What we can do is to focus on seeking God’s will and His destiny and goals for our lives, and work dedicatedly for Godly success.
Faith and awe in God initiate our desires to pursue excellence. I pray that God grants us the ability to pursue an outstanding life through His mighty grace and according to His will. Amen!
