We are the clay in God’s hands, and He is the master potter. God slowly shapes and sculpts us, and slowly removes our imperfect places, until it matches His will, the master vessel He desires. However, when God’s work is not completed, please give us empathy for others. Just like the construction sign said: “Thank you for your patience while we are under construction!”. When we see this sign, we understand that the construction is temporary, and we can accommodate any short term inconveniences. Pray to God to sculpt us, discard all our imperfect old selves, and re-shape them into merciful, honorable, and glorified vessels in your image.
