Does this conversation sound familiar? It’s a dialogue I’ve had with my mom throughout my life, and now, I find my son saying the same things to me. Through this painting, I aim to express my gratitude for my mother’s unwavering care and endless love. She has always given selflessly to her children in the best way she knows how, while I often played the role of a defiant daughter.
As I painted, I felt a deep sense of remorse intertwined with cherished memories of my mother’s love. To my mom and to all mothers everywhere, I wish you a Happy Mother’s Day!
Dear Heavenly Father, I ask for Your kindness and mercy upon my mother. Please watch over her and ensure her physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Grant her joy each day and the peace that comes from Your presence. May she experience Your faithfulness and goodness every day. Amen!
