If you’ve seen it, then you may remember what Princess Pocahontas sang to the British: “You think you own whatever land you land on, the earth is just a dead thing you can claim. But I know every rock and tree and creature, has a life, has a spirit, has a name.”
Do you think the land you stand on is alive?
Do you believe that every tree and every creature in this world is created by God?
If you agree with the Bible’s teachings – the world is God’s property. Shouldn’t we reflect on how God would respond to people abusing the world he created?
Let the trees of the forest sing, let them sing for joy before the Lord, for he comes to judge the earth. (1 Chronicles 16:33)
