Her lifelong passion for arts led to the establishment of the “RiverBien” art platform, recognized in 2023 by the Overseas Community Affairs Council of the Republic of China (Taiwan) as one of the “Top 30 Global Young Business Stars.” She was also honored to represent at the Asia-Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (APAC) gala in the United States that year, with RiverBien products featured as VIP gifts at the Taiwan National Day reception in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her “Bingo Art Co” venture also received investment from the National Development Fund the following year.
Prior to her entrepreneurial endeavors, Crystal served as a business consultant in Silicon Valley and lectured at Purdue University’s Management School. Her professional background includes leadership roles at the Taiwan Sovereign Wealth Fund, where she oversaw investments and held board positions in multiple companies. Crystal has also contributed her expertise to IBM Global Business Services (IBM GBS) and UNIEI Lab in the United Kingdom.
Crystal holds a Ph.D. in Strategic Management from Purdue University, with a minor in Economics. She earned a Master’s degree in Applied Molecular Biology from the University of Nottingham, UK, and a Bachelor’s in Agricultural Economics from National Taiwan University. Recognized for her academic achievements, Crystal was selected for the Taiwan Top University Alliance Scholarship to pursue doctoral studies at Harvard University in 2012 following her doctoral studies at the International Business Program of National Taiwan University from 2011 to 2012.
