GUIDELINES and EXPECTATIONS

Attendance

We kindly ask that all children attending our classes, program or camps be properly registered prior to the start of the session. Our instructors do not have the authority to register students, so please ensure that registration is complete before the first day of class.

As a general policy, we ask that parents not remain in the classroom while classes are in session. However, we understand that some students may require additional support or accommodations, and we strive to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. With the teacher’s permission, parents may stay for the first 10 minutes of the class to assist their child as needed

Early Drop-Offs and Prompt Pick-Up by Parents/Guardians

At RiverBien, we prioritize the safety and well-being of our students, and we kindly request your cooperation in following our policies regarding student attendance. Please note that we are not responsible for students before or after class time, or between classes, and therefore cannot assume liability for their supervision during these periods.

We would also like to remind you that repeated lateness may lead to discharge from the class with no refund. We understand that circumstances may arise that are beyond your control, and we encourage you to inform us in advance if you anticipate any issues with punctuality or attendance.

Additionally, we kindly request that you do not drop off your child early for class, as we cannot guarantee their supervision until the scheduled start time. We also require prompt and timely pick-up of your child at the end of class. Please note that early drop-offs and/or late pick-ups may result in a charge of $15 per quarter hour.

Registration and Fee

It is kindly requested that all applicable fees for the desired program, camp, or classes be remitted in full at the time of registration. Please note that registration may only be completed online, and that your child’s enrollment will only be confirmed upon receipt of full payment.

We kindly suggest that students register at least two weeks prior to the starting date of the applicable program, camp or classes, as many of our classes tend to fill up quickly. After the first class, we can only accept enrollments on a space-available basis, subject to owner approval. In case of late enrollment approved after the first class, tuition can be pro-rated accordingly. Please note that the material fee is non-refundable.

If your child’s spot is in jeopardy for any reason, we will notify you promptly.

We kindly remind you that for classes, programs, and camps, students must meet the age requirement specified for the class/program/camp by the session start date. Please note that RiverBien reserves the right to withdraw any students who have been registered in an incorrect age category.

Class Cancellation and Refund Policy

At RiverBien, we understand that unexpected circumstances may arise that require you to cancel your child’s participation in a class, camp, or program. We strive to accommodate these situations by offering varying cancellation policies that depend on the specific class, camp, or program.

In the unlikely event that an instructor becomes ill or experiences a family emergency, we will make every effort to provide a substitute instructor so that the class can continue as scheduled.

Kindly note that our classes are final sale, and we do not offer refunds for class cancellations, as our classes are small, and we must turn away other artists once your artist is enrolled. However, if your child is unable to attend a class due to illness, we do offer one makeup class within the same session. Please note that makeups are only offered for missed classes due to sickness and are not issued for vacation or other reasons. We appreciate your understanding of this policy.

Changes to Program, Class, or Camp

RivreBien reserves the right to modify instructors or program content at its discretion on a daily basis without prior notice. The information available on our online registration system should be deemed the most current. Certain programs and classes may have distinct requirements and policies. For additional details, kindly visit www.riverbien.com or contact us at riverbien@gmail.com.

Behavior Expectations for Students and Parents/Guardians

RiverBien has the right to refuse service to anyone for inappropriate conduct and/or behaviors. We strive to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all our students and staff. In consideration of others, we kindly ask our students to be well-mannered at all times while in RiverBien. Running and leaving children unattended are not permitted in our premises. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a positive experience for everyone.

Medical and Learning Needs

In order to provide the best possible learning experience for all students, we kindly request that parents or guardians inform us at the time of registration of any allergies, physical, emotional, or learning needs that their child may have. This will allow us to take any necessary precautions and make any needed accommodations. Thank you for your cooperation.

Illness

We kindly request that you do not attend or bring your child to any activity if you, your child, or anyone in your household is displaying any signs of illness. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in ensuring the health and safety of our students and staff.

We value your child’s education and hope that our policies and procedures will help ensure a positive learning experience for everyone. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at riverbien@gmail.com. Thank you for your understanding.
