Courage
As an immigrant living overseas, the environment I’m in is sometimes challenging. Without families around me, fears and depression often gravitate me into a low tide of helplessness.
What we can do at that moment is to focus on God. We must believe that the Lord will protect us in the hardest time and overcome our fears with faith. Be strong and courageous.
Are you discouraged by failures in the past? Are you holding back with fear of being hurt again? The Bible said, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new”(2 Corinthians 5:17). As long as you are willing, you can be a brand new person in Christ right from this moment! All the past regrets and pains can be dropped and reset. What a precious promise!
He is a God who does new things. Let go of our past, ourselves and let God renew us and start fresh today!
“Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, All you who hope in the LORD.” — Psalms 31:24
