Chen Peng is a Taiwanese artist currently based in Hoboken, NJ. Her work spans painting and ceramics, exploring themes of belonging and healing. Drawing inspiration from nature, animals, and her personal experiences as an immigrant, Peng creates intricate compositions that blend real and imaginary worlds, celebrating the connections we share with our surroundings, nature, and the animals in our lives.
Peng has participated in artist residencies such as the Studios at MASS MoCA, the Wassaic Project, and the Vermont Studio Center, and has been featured in New American Paintings. Her work is included in several public collections, including the Cleveland Institute of Art, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Clinic, and Fidelity Corporate Art Collection, among others. She holds an MFA from Boston University and a BFA from Cleveland Institute of Art.
